Abstract
Among different laser types, the carbon dioxide (CO2) laser remains one of the most used by dermatologists. Its usefulness has been demonstrated both for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes.

This review aims to provide an overview of the applications of CO2 laser in dermatology, focusing on the treatment of infective, neoplastic and anti‐aesthetic lesions.

Tra i diversi tipi di laser, il laser ad anidride carbonica (CO2) rimane uno dei più utilizzati dai dermatologi. La sua utilità è stata dimostrata sia a scopo terapeutico che cosmetico.

Questa recensione si propone di fornire una panoramica delle applicazioni del laser CO2 in dermatologia, concentrandosi sul trattamento delle lesioni infettive, neoplastiche e antiestetiche.
